Meet Emma
Emma brings over a decade of nursing experience to Canberra Allied Health, with specialised expertise in weight management, chronic disease care, and health coaching. She supports clients navigating weight concerns, GLP-1 medications, pre/type 2 diabetes, and lifestyle-related conditions, offering practical, sustainable strategies that fit real life. Emma is passionate about meeting people where they are, helping them make manageable long-term changes, and ensuring their care feels connected through close collaboration with GPs and the multidisciplinary team.
She also leads the Bridging the Gap program, providing structured nurse-led care coordination for people managing chronic conditions and needing ongoing support.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her family, bushwalking, cycling, travelling, exploring new cultures and food, or reading a good book with a cup of tea during one of Canberra’s cold winter days.

Nutrition – Eligibility & Who It’s for
These appointments are designed for individuals without a GP Management Plan who are seeking expert guidance in healthy eating, portion control, sustainable lifestyle habits, and safe, evidence-based weight loss. They are ideal for those wanting general nutrition advice to improve wellbeing, support metabolic health, or build long-term habits that feel realistic and achievable.
Emma does not see clients wanting specialised sports performance guidance or clients with diagnosed medical or clinical conditions requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy, such as Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, kidney disease, cancer, eating disorders, or severe gastrointestinal conditions including Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis.
Health Coaching – Eligibility & Who It’s For
Health Coaching appointments are designed for individuals seeking support with behaviour change, sustainable habit building, and lifestyle strategies that improve overall wellbeing. These sessions are ideal for people wanting guidance with weight management, GLP-1 support, pre/type 2 diabetes, metabolic health, or developing long-term systems that make healthy choices easier and more consistent.
Emma does not provide Health Coaching for individuals requiring specialised psychological or clinical therapy, including those with diagnosed eating disorders, unmanaged severe mental health conditions, or situations requiring Medical Nutrition Therapy.
