Movement for optimal physical, mental and emotional wellbeing has always been a big part of my life, both personally and professionally. Years of elite sport eventually led me abroad to compete my undergraduate and Masters degrees in Exercise Science. During these formative years, and particularly during the adjustment to life after high level sport, I developed a love for hatha yoga. I still teach and practice weekly.

I have worked in rehabilitation with a variety of chronic conditions in both public and private settings. In addition to clinical work I have completed my PhD in Exercise Physiology, which examined the effect of Bikram Yoga on stressed and sedentary adults. In tandem with my PhD I co-owned and operated a local yoga studio for six years.

I have always been fascinated by the inseparable dance between brain and body. I am particularly interested in injury prevention, addressing habituated patterns of tension, using movement practices to down regulate the nervous system, and adapting well during the many transitions across the lifespan. We are designed to move! I look forward to supporting you through exercise with your individual movement goals for enhanced well being.

Zoe has a particular interest in movement for optimal physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
