Canberra Allied Health Class FAQs

You can find our most frequently asked questions about what to expect, what to bring and how much an appointment will cost below. If you cannot find what you’re after feel free to contact us via the form on this page or Contact Us. We are here to help!

We highly recommend an initial exercise physiology consultation prior to joining one of our classes. This gives us time to complete baseline fitness assessments, go over any medical conditions, injuries or niggles you may have, and help you to choose the class that is right for you. Our classes are suitable for all ages, fitness levels and abilities, but if we feel that one of our other classes might suit you better we will be sure to let you know.

Once you have had an initial exercise physiology appointment and decided upon your chosen class, our team will book you in and let the practitioner running the class know to expect you on your first day. There are class term packages or the option to pay as you go.

For our land based classes we recommend wearing comfortable exercise clothing, closed in footwear, and bringing along a water bottle and a towel. For our pool based classes you can choose to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. For most that is a swimsuit but many opt to wear board shorts and/or a rashie or t-shirt. Bring a towel, water bottle and comfy clothes to get changed into!

Yes we do, we offer class term packages. Our terms are 7 weeks long and go continuously all year round with a short break at Christmas. Our 7 week terms don’t align with the school terms and therefore we don’t pause the classes during school holidays. We find that most of our regular class attendees prefer to keep on coming without the break in momentum!
